“Drone Driver” captures the solitary poetry of a woman in transit between flesh and code. Standing beneath the harsh fluorescence of an anonymous corridor, she speaks not into a telephone but into her drone — her only confidant in a world that has replaced intimacy with observation.

Her jacket, marked Drones of Suburbia, is both uniform and confession. The metallic rig attached to her skull suggests a new form of communication: half neural interface, half halo. She is a prophet of the machine age — neither controlled nor entirely free, navigating a city that listens but does not answer.

Rendered in high-contrast monochrome, this image channels the cinematography of a classic NYC scene through the aesthetic of emergent AI surveillance. The composition is stark and symmetrical, evoking both penitence and rebellion.
